The Coalition Against Duck Shooting (CADS) is a non-profit, volunteer organisation that campaigns to end duck shooting in Victoria.
CADS’ rescuers attend the wetlands throughout duck shooting seasons to rescue and provide treatment for wounded waterbirds and to recover illegally shot protected, threatened and endangered species.
When the campaign first commenced in 1986, Victoria had 100,000 duck shooters. Today, their numbers have decreased by 75% and make up only 0.4% of Victoria’s population. Help us make it zero.
