As an entirely volunteer-run organisation, the Coalition Against Duck Shooting relies on people like yourself giving up their time to help native waterbirds in the struggle to ban duck shooting.
The CADS rescue team heads out to the wetlands every year and rescues injured waterbirds, and recover illegally shot protected, threatened and endangered species. The injured waterbirds receive on-site veterinary attention while the dead waterbirds are displayed outside the Premier’s office and the offices of different politicians.
While a lot of our work is done on the wetlands, there is plenty to do behind the scenes to campaign for an end to duck shooting.
Please fill out our form with your contact details and we will add you to our volunteer database. You can choose whether you want to volunteer to be on the rescue team, or perform non-rescue duties such as administration and campaigning.
